  About the Author

  Michael A. Martin’s short fiction has appeared in The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, and he is the author of several Star Trek books. He has also coauthored (with Andy Mangels) several Star Trek comics for Marvel and Wildstorm, as well as numerous other works of Star Trek fiction and three novels based on the Roswell television series. Other publishers of Martin’s work include Atlas Editions (producers of the Star Trek Universe subscription-card series), Gareth Stevens, Grolier Books, Moonstone Books, the Oregonian, Sharpe Reference, Facts On File, Star Trek magazine, and Visible Ink Press. He lives with his wife, Jenny, and their sons, James and William, in Portland, Oregon, where he occasionally plays bass guitar and tabletop role-playing games, and spends the balance of his free time preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse.
